Subscription
Titan is paid software and there's no free tier. Your plan sets:
- How many readers you can have on your account.
- Which add-ons you have.
You aren't charged per user, and there's no limit on how many tags you track. Contact us for pricing.
Where to see it
Settings → Subscription shows:
- Standing: your plan, its state, and when it renews or ends.
- Usage against your limits: how many readers you have against how many your plan allows.
- Add-ons: the add-ons included in your plan.
Admins also see Manage billing. It opens our billing portal, where you can update payment details, see invoices and manage the subscription.
The hub shows a banner across the top when something needs attention: a trial running out, a subscription about to expire, or an account that can no longer make changes. When everything's fine, there's no banner.
Reader limit
Your reader count includes every reader on your account, whether it's running or stopped. To add readers beyond your plan's limit, contact us to change your plan.
If a subscription lapses
Titan keeps tracking. Readers keep reading and your history keeps building, because switching off a warehouse's tracking over a billing problem would do real damage. What changes depends on the situation:
| Situation | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Trial ended or subscription expired | Sign in and see everything, but change nothing. Every change through the hub or the API is refused with HTTP 402 until the subscription is renewed. Nothing is deleted. |
| Account suspended | Nobody can sign in, and API keys are refused with HTTP 403. Readers keep recording, and nothing is deleted. Contact us to restore access. |
| Account closed | As for suspended. |
Add-ons
Some features are sold as add-ons on top of a plan. The Subscription tab lists the ones you have. If you call an add-on's API without having it, you get HTTP 402 and a message saying it isn't included.
Dock-door direction detection (which way a tag passed through a doorway) is planned as an add-on but isn't available yet.
